Psst come inside if you dare
The old post office loomed in the darkness, a hulking silhouette that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy. I stepped out of my car, heels clicking on the cracked asphalt. "Psst... come inside," a soft, raspy voice called from somewhere out of sight.
"C'mon in here," she purred, crooking a finger at me. "I promise I won't bite... hard." I shivered at the undertone of threat in her voice. Still, curiosity got the better of me, and I followed her inside, into the dark, musty depths of the post office.
As we descended into the bowels of the building, the air grew thick with decay and rot. "Welcome to my home," she said with a wicked smile. "You'll be staying a while... forever, I think I meant to say."
